Dust jacket repaired with tape on inside of jacket. Soiling visible around edges of dust jacket and small ink pen mark visible on front cover. Book interior is clean, with no markings, inscriptions, or creasing. Illustrations are bright.

Printed in 1961 by Alfred A. Knopf in New York, this copy is a first edition, however it is not a true first printing. True first printing has five line colophone that says Bound by H. Wolff Co. and deep maroon boards. This copy has the markers of a fourth printing.
