This first edition, first printing copy of Deliverance by James Dickey is in beautiful condition.

Stated 'First Printing' on editorial page with first state dust jacket showing price of $5.95. Octavo, 278pp. Olive cloth, title stamped in green on spine. 

The book looks pristine and includes original dust jacket. Dust jacket has very minor edge wear on spine (see detail photo) and is not price clipped. Interior is clean with no markings, plates, or inscriptions in the book. Boards show no sign of rubbing or bumping. Binding is strong. Rare find in this condition!

Published by Houghton Mifflin in 1970, Deliverance was the inspiration for the classic film of the same name.

Dust jacket is protected by removable mylar cover.
