First edition, first printing of the American edition of The Spy Who Came in From the Cold, the classic spy thriller by John Le Carré, in beautiful condition.

'First American Edition 1964' stated on copyright page and no 'W' notation. Octavo, 256pp. Red cloth spine with gray boards, and a dust jacket displaying the original price of $4.50.

Includes original dust jacket, not price clipped, with minor edge wear and chipping on spine. Closed tear on rear of jacket repaired with tape on inside. Inside of dust jacket flap shows some discoloration. Book itself is clean with no markings, inscriptions, plates, or page creasing. Some minor foxing on top text block. Overall near fine condition.
