This book has all markers of a first printing of the first British edition: Hardcover with maroon color. Original 18s net printed on front dust jacket flap.  Editorial page has redacted copyright line, which was present on the first printing only.

London: Methuen & Co. Ltd, 1962. 311 pp. Crimson cloth with gilt and turquoise stamping on spine.

Includes original dust jacket with minor edge wear. Jacket has some discoloration throughout consistent with age. No chipping or tears. Not price clipped. Interior is clean, with no markings, inscriptions, or plates. Some discoloration on top stain. Overall a very nice copy.

Published in 1962, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest was the inspiration for the classic Jack Nicholson film of the same name.
